T​he Caron Family Farm was purchased in the 1960's by Oscar and Valerie Caron as a recreational property to be enjoyed by their family.  It eventually became their home and they hosted their first official campout in the early 1970's by the Forest Lawn Lions Club on ​father's day weekend.  The Father's Day Weekend tradition is still continued today as an annual event of Oscar's Campout. 

 The "farm" was operated as a group camping area from then on by Oscar and Valerie and is now owned and operated in their memory by their eldest son Dale, his wife Judy and his son and daughter Darcy and Dawn (Mike).  

It is a treasured space by all who grew up here and visit.
